6″ (6-Inch) Solar Borehole Pumps
Aquasolar builds 2 series of 6-inch solar submersible pumps — 55 models in total, reaching up to 260 m of head and 40 m³/h of flow. A 6″ pump fits a borehole whose inner diameter is at least slightly larger than the pump body, so check the minimum borehole figure in each series before ordering. Screw (helical-rotor) models handle sandy water; stainless-impeller models favour higher flows.

Questions fréquentes
What borehole diameter does a 6″ solar pump need?
The pump body is nominally 6 inches; the borehole's inner diameter must be slightly larger. Each Aquasolar series lists its exact outer diameter and minimum borehole size in the specifications and datasheet.
Screw pump or impeller pump — which one?
Screw (helical-rotor) pumps deliver high head at modest flows and tolerate sand — ideal for deep, narrow or silty wells. Impeller (centrifugal) pumps deliver higher flows and suit clean water. Both are listed below.
Can it run on solar only?
Yes — DC models run purely on solar with water stored in a tank. If you need water around the clock, the AC/DC hybrid versions switch to grid or generator power automatically when sunlight is insufficient.
